 At CeBIT Hannover 2005 GlacialTech Inc. ,
a leading cooling solution
provider, introduces a series of new CPU coolers for LGA775 PC systems. In addition to this, another new product line of hard disk drive cooler - IceCrown™ 1000 will also be launched for PC enthusiasts.
LGA775 CPU coolers consists of three product lines of Igloo 5050, Igloo 5070 and Igloo 5600 to meet the market demands on different performance levels from low budget to high-end of LGA775 PC systems. It includes 7 models of Igloo 5050, Igloo 5070 Light, Igloo 5070, Igloo 5070 PWM, Igloo 5600 Light, Igloo 5600 and Igloo 5600 PWM. All these models are designed to reach different budget levels and to keep an optimal balance between performance and noise. 
Igloo 5050 and Igloo 5070 Light are purposed for Prescott 3.4 GHz (84 W) PC system which provides enough airflow. Igloo 5070 PWM has the best price performance ratio for Prescott 3.8 GHz (115 W) PC system which provides enough airflow.
Both Igloo 5600 Light with 26 dBA CPU fan for Prescott 3.4 GHz (84 W) PC system and Igloo 5600 with 31 dBA CPU fan for Prescott 3.8 GHz (115 W) PC system show not only their very good price and noise performance ratios compared with other cooling solutions nowadays, but also have the total weight
only about 470 grams, equal to 50% to 60% of the weight of other full cooper based cooling solutions.
 Another new cooling product line of IceCrown™ 1000
is designed for 3.5 inches hard disk drive. Through the exquisite and effective design, IceCrown™ 1000 exhibits superior cooling performance for the top level of PC enthusiast. The radiation principle of IceCrown™ 1000 presents two features: The hard disk heat generated by the iron disk will be promptly conducted out of HDD by the close contact with the heat sink. The heat resulted
the lower part of hard disk will be radiated away rapidly by a silent fan (15 dBA). In this way, IceCrown™ 1000 proves the value of increasing the reliability and life cycle of hard disk drive.
