January 07, 2016 - Taipei, Taiwan - GlacialLight, the lighting division of GlacialTech Inc., announces a new series of 15W floodlights designed for outdoor lighting. The GL-FL15 floodlights feature highly efficient 115 lumen per watt lighting in an outdoor-ready IP66 rugged enclosure and optional motion-sensor. They operate from -40°C to +50°C and an outdoor stake bracket accessory increases installation options. The GL-FL15 comes in AC or DC powered versions and can come in various beam angles and color temperatures to suit varied lighting needs.

With a rugged outdoor design, highly efficient performance and optional motion sensor, the GL-FL15 is designed for outdoor security lighting. An optional Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor detects motion over a 180° field of view. The motion sensor can be adjusted to sense motion at various distances as well as various ambient lighting conditions, and to turn on the light for various lengths of time. With 115 lumen per watt performance, the GL-FL15 is extremely efficient whether used as a regular light or activated through motion detection.

Built for the outdoors, the GL-FL15 features an IP66 rated weatherproof enclosure and wide temperature operation from -40°C to +50°C, as well as a stainless steel mounting bracket with 360 degrees of vertical adjustment. An optional outdoor stake bracket is made of corrosion resistant aluminum and increases outdoor installation options.
Variety of Beam Angles and Color Temperatures Available
The GL-FL15 has AC and DC powered versions and can be ordered in a range of beam angles and color temperatures to suit various lighting applications. AC versions support international mains voltage from 100-240V, while DC versions support 11-15V and 22-30V. Beam angles from a tight 40 degrees, 60 degrees, or a wide 120 degrees are available. In addition, color temperatures of 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Neutral White), or 5000K (Cool White) are available to suit various lighting needs. |
