April 28, 2015 – GlacialLight, the lighting division of GlacialTech Inc., announces its comprehensive 2015 down light range, featuring recessed, surface mounted, and optional pendant rod mounting models from 4 to 10 inches. 3 color temperature options are offered and the lighting fixtures from GlacialLight are compatible with either AC (100-240V) or DC power, with dimming available as well.

Recessed, Surface, Pendant Mounting
Both recessed and surface mount models are available from GlacialLight. Recessed lighting sits flush with the ceiling or wall for a clean look. Surface mount models can be attached directly to pre-existing surfaces such as ceilings or walls for an easier installation requiring little to no drilling. GlacialLight’s surface mount down light models also come with an optional rod pendant mount to extend the lighting fixture closer to the lighting target.

Cover Accessory
A cover accessory for GlacialLight’s down lights allows these lights to sit lower to the lighting target and adds an attractive aesthetic to LED down lights. Coming in high quality white matte paint, and with 55mm, 105mm, and 150mm height options, these cover accessories extend the down light further down from the ceiling, and can be pendant mounted by metal rod.

Versatile Indoor Lighting
GlacialLight’s down lights come in 4 sizes up to 10 inches and a variety of configuration options to suit a range of indoor lighting applications. 4, 6, 8, and 10 inch diameter lights are available in both recessed and surface mount options. To suit various environments, 3 color temperatures from warm white(3000K), neutral white(4000K), to cool white(6000K) are offered,, as well as dimming capability with TRIAC or, 3-in-1 dimming.

Rugged Models
Besides standard indoor lighting models, rugged IP-rated versions are also available to extend the usage of GlacialLight down lights to harsher indoor environments such as bathrooms and saunas or covered outdoor usage. IP64 versions feature water resistance and are completely dust tight for added protection.

Environmentally Friendly
GlacialLight down lights are energy efficient and fully RoHS compliant with no mercury or hazardous materials. At up to 96 lumens per watt, GlacialLight’s down lights produce bright LED light efficiently using either AC or DC power. Either AC or DC input is supported and AC versions support worldwide voltage from 100-240V AC.
