September, 2008: - GlacialPower, the power supply division of the leading thermal solution provider GlacialTech, announced two series of AC/DC Enclosed Single-Output Power Supply ES320P and ES360P. The built-in constant current function and the optional remote on/off control make the PSU more suitable for LED lighting, inductive and capacitive loads and more compatible with various loads. The low-voltage models 3.3V and 5V use the patented synchronous rectification technique to increase the converter efficiency and decrease the thermal rise. Two cooling fans are installed at the rear side to conduct heat quickly. Thanks to solid electrical and mechanical designs, the PSU can supply more electrical power with same mechanical size as compared with other competitive PSU.

The PSU can be fed with input voltage 90~264Vac and full-load-operated at ambient temperature -20°C~50°C. The built-in constant current function and optional remote on/off control make the PSU more suitable for LED lighting, inductive and capacitive loads and more compatible with various loads. High efficiency and high power factor qualify the PSU as one of the green products. The rotational speed of the cooling fan is controlled by thermal detection so as to decrease the acoustic noise at light loads and increase the life time of the cooling fan. Protections against fault conditions include over load protection, over voltage protection, short circuit protection and over temperature protection. The PSU will latch off or recover automatically, depending on the protection mode, after the fault condition has been removed.
